Modern Filipino comfort food in a 40-seat dining room. Reserve a table, we'll hold it for 15 minutes.
Ubewick Kitchen is forty seats on a quiet stretch of Sct. Tuason. We cook Filipino food the way it is cooked at home, then plate it the way we would want it served to us. The dining room runs on reservations because forty seats and a small kitchen do not survive a rush. We hold your table for fifteen minutes past the time; after that we will call before releasing it. The back room seats fourteen and is bookable on its own. There is paid parking on the next corner. The kitchen closes at 9.30pm on weeknights and 10.30pm on weekends.

Seven courses and not one of them was a filler. The kitchen sends things out when they are ready, not on a clock, and you can feel it.

Genuinely good food, and the kitchen sends things when they are ready rather than to a timer. The room is tight, so if you want to talk business rather than eat, take the back room instead.

Booked the back room for my mother's birthday. Odette asked what she liked and then quietly built the evening around it.

We arrived twenty minutes late and lost the table. Fair enough in hindsight, but the confirmation did not say that would happen.

Response from the owner
You are right that we did not say it clearly enough, Cecile. The hold window is now in the confirmation itself. I would like to cook for you properly — please ask for me. — Rafael
